I never lose sight of the value of playing on teams or participating in groups, such as the Boys and Girls Scouts. Although school is important, there are also many learning opportunities outside of school. Sports teaches us the values of teamwork, fairness, hard work, and goal-setting. Recently some Lane students did quite well in their indoor soccer league. I congratulate this crew!!!
The undefeated Bedford Blast won the 1st session playoffs of the U10 Boys Indoor Soccer League at The Edge on Thursday, January 26th. The 4th grade team includes: (back row) Oliver VanSpaendonck, Dexter Kennedy, Mathias Ou, Brendan Vaughan, Alex Oleksinski, (2nd row) Joe Watson, Jeffrey Mascoli, Ryan Knight, Andrew Presti, (front) Quin Houck.
